The five‐level townhouse is characterized by its loft‐like open spaces. The decision to remove the rear wall of the building provided the opportunity to create a wall of glass. This large opening brings generous amounts of natural light, transparency and space into the each floor.
The choice of the material finishes also served to create bright airy spaces. The floors and cabinetry are light maple, the kitchen appliances and island are stainless steel, and in the bathrooms, there are sandblasted glass shower doors and counter tops.
